Short Peace Film's "A Farewell to Arms" Short Previewed in Promo

Hajime Katoki helms short in Katsuhiro Ōtomo's anthology opening July 20
Shochiku Films began streaming a 15-second promotional video for Hajime Katoki's "Buki yo Saraba" (A Farewell to Arms) short, one of four in the Short Peace compilation film.
The short was written and directed by Katoki (mechanical designs in Gundam franchise, Super Robot Wars) based on a short story by Katsuhiro Ōtomo (Akira, Memories, Steamboy).
Short Peace is an omnibus of four short films by Otomo, Shuhei Morita (Kakurenbo, Freedom), Hiroaki Ando (Five Numbers!), and Hajime Katoki with an opening by Kōji Morimoto (The Animatrix's Beyond, Memories' Magnetic Rose, Noiseman Sound Insect, Genius Party's Dimension Bomb).
The anthology film will open in 25 theaters across Japan on July 20.
