Pokémon XY Anime's Latest Trailer Introduces Main Cast

TV Tokyo posted a new 96-second trailer on Thursday for the upcoming anime series, Pocket Monsters XY (Pokémon the Series: XY). The trailer introduces the names of main cast: Citron (Clemont), Eureka (Bonnie), Serena, and Professor Platane (Professor Augustine Sycamore), as well as the new Pokémon Harimaron (Chespin), Fokko (Fennekin), and Keromatsu (Froakie). The trailer also features Yusuke's opening theme song "V (Volt)."
The latest generation of Pokémon games, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, will launch worldwide on October 12. Starting that same day, Pokemon: Black and White!: Adventures in Unova and Beyond will show "some exciting new Pokémon and characters from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y" in the United States.
Cartoon Network will then show two episodes from Pokémon the Series: XY in the United States on October 19, right after the American premiere of the latest Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genosekuto: Myuutsū Kakusei). The Japanese broadcast of Pokémon the Series: XY will premiere on October 17 with a one-hour special.
