Cartoon Network to Run Pokémon the Movie: Genesect, XY Anime Sneak Peek

The Pokémon Company International announced on Monday that the Cartoon Network will run the latest Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genosekuto: Myuutsū Kakusei) on Saturday, October 19 in the United States. Two episodes of "the newest season of the Pokémon animated series, Pokémon the Series: XY," will follow the film.
The Pokémon Company International describes the story of the film:
Five Genesect have invaded the big city and threaten its power supply, attracting the attention of the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, whose motives are unknown. Ash, Pikachu, and friends must come to the rescue when the Genesect's powerful leader, Red Genesect, confronts Mewtwo! The movie features the Mega-Evolved form of Mewtwo, Mega Mewtwo, which appears for the first time in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
The latest generation of Pokémon games, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, will launch worldwide on October 12. Starting that same day, the latest Pokémon television series in America, Pokémon: BW Adventures in Unova and Beyond, will show "some exciting new Pokémon and characters from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y." Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice will run before the latest film and the two epsiode of Pokémon the Series: XY on Cartoon Network on October 19.
