Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD's N. American Launch Promoted With Trailer

Remastered visuals, re-arranged BGM, trophies, cross-save compatibility, drama CD, & more next week

The official North America YouTube channel for Square Enix began streaming the launch trailer for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on Tuesday. The high-definition remaster of Square Enix's Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 role-playing games, will ship on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the United States on March 18, and then in Europe on March 21.


New features in the game include completely remastered visuals, re-arranged background music, trophies, cross-save compatibility, a drama CD, and new content, such as the material in the International Edition that was never released in North America.

Those who pre-order the game will receive a limited edition that will come with an artbook disc case. The collector's edition from the Square Enix Online Store will include a 40-page hardcover artbook that includes concept sketches, environment art, and the characters in the world of Spira. Additionally, the art from Final Fantasy X-2 will include images of the three main characters in all of their Dresspheres. The edition will also include a Blu-ray music disc with more than six hours of music set to images from the game, and five lithographs of Yuna and Tidus.
