Real-Life Attack on Titan Escape Game Heads Overseas

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Attraction that has players attempt to avoid of titan attack has first overseas venue in Singapore

The November issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Thursday that the Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) real-life escape game is going overseas. The magazine lists the announcement, "Answering to passionate voices, the attraction attacks the world! Beginning with Singapore, attractions overseas have been green-lit!!!"

The magazine also lists that the attraction will also go to Okinawa beginning on November 9. Tickets will cost 3,000 yen (about US$30) when pre-ordered, and 3,500 yen (US$35) when purchased at the door.

As in other Real Escape Games, players have to cooperate to solve puzzles to get items and passwords that they need to escape. The scenario has players act as trainees hoping to join the Survey Corps. The graduation event is interrupted when titans attack and break into the citadel, and players have one hour to find the escape route.

Past anime-inspired Real Escape Games have included an Evangelion game in San Francisco and a Detective Conan game in Takamatsu city.
