posted on by Emma Hanashiro
Manga creator Masami Kurumada (Saint Seiya) will continue his Raimei no Zaji manga with a new sequel titled Raimei no Zaji Tokubetsu-hen: Haruka Kanata (Raimei no Zaji Special Chapter ~Far Beyond~). The new work will launch with the first issue of Akita Shoten's new free web manga magazine, Champion Cross, on October 21.
Raimei no Zaji originally appeared in Shueisha's Fresh Jump from 1983 to 1988. The story follows the battles of a boy named Zaji, who was molded into a first class warrior by a mysterious organization called "Home." The series has been incomplete for more than 20 years.
Champion Cross will replace Champion RED Ichigo, which ceased publication in August. The "web magazine for adults" will also continue Kurumada's Saint Seiya Episode.G. - Assassin manga.
Kurumada also revived his Otoko-Zaka manga in June and will begin arc in December. Like Raimei no Zaji, Otoko-Zaka was first serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1984 to 1985, but remains incomplete.
