Comcept Releases Mighty No. 9 English Voice Samples

Comcept began streaming three videos previewing the English voice cast for its upcoming Mighty No. 9 game on Wednesday.
The cast includes:
- Yuri Lowenthal as Mighty No. 9 Beck
- Matthew Mercer as Mighty No. 1 Pyrogen
- Paige King as Mighty No. 2 Cryosphere
- Jan Johns as Mighty No. 3 Dynatron
- Fred Tatasciore as Mighty No. 4 Seismic
- Brian. T. Delaney as Mighty No. 5 Battalion
- Mick Wingert as Mighty No. 6 Aviator
- J.P. Karliak as Mighty No. 7 Brandish
- Steve Blum as Mighty No. 8 Countershade
- Julie Nathanson as Call
- Jason Spisak as Dr. White
- Dave Wittenberg as Dr. Sanda
- Scott Whyte as Mr. Graham
- Bob Joles as Dr. Blackwell
Comcept announced the English dub cast for the game in February, and the Japanese dub cast in May.
Comcept also released a video of Keiji Inafune drawing Mighty No. 9 sketches for Kickstarter backers.
Inafune's Comcept is partnering with game publisher Deep Silver to release the multi-platform video game this fall. The game will debut for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 15 in North America and September 18 for the rest of the world. The portable version for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita will follow.
Mighty No. 9 was initially set to ship this spring. Inafune (Megaman) and his company raised more than US$3.5 million in its crowdfunding campaign for the game in October 2013.
Comcept describes the game's story:
In the year 20XX, breakthroughs in robotic technology have ushered in a new era of peace & prosperity. Violence is confined to the Battle Coliseum, where robot combatants face off in spectacular duels. Dr. White created 9 robot siblings known as the “Mighty Numbers”, who were the most popular and powerful team of robots in the Battle Coliseum and always in the top ranks. But, during one competition there was a cyber-attack, infecting them with a computer virus causing them to become crazed and rampant. You play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots, and the only one not infected by the mysterious computer virus that caused mechanized creatures the world over to go berserk.
Tokyo-based CG animation company Digital Frontier is developing an animated series for a worldwide market. Legendary Digital Media is collaborating with Contradiction Films to develop a live-action film for digital distribution.
