MB VoiceWorks Dubbing Production Company Closes

Media Blasters will continue to have in-house dubbing team

MB VoiceWorks co-founders Melanie Ehrlich and Brittany Lauda announced on Facebook on Monday that they are closing the New York-based production company to focus on their individual careers.

Media Blasters commented on Facebook that it will still have an in-house English dubbing team. Lauda will continue to lead the dubbing department and direct dubs for Media Blasters.

MB VoiceWorks signed on with North American anime publisher Media Blasters in January 2015 to produce anime dubs in-house. The "MB" in MB VoiceWorks stands for "Melanie and Brittany" and is not related to "Media Blasters." The companies and employees were separate.

MB VoiceWorks provided casting and directing for the English dubs for Holy Knight and Ladies versus Butlers!.
