The Case of Hana & Alice's Shunji Iwai Directs illion Music Video

The official YouTube channel of illion, the solo project of RADWIMPS band songwriter and guitarist Yōjirō Noda, began streaming a preview of the animated music video of his new song "Miracle" on Wednesday. Shunji Iwai directed the video, which is based on illustrations by JaeHoon Choi.
The new track features in illion's new album P.Y.L, which shipped in Japan on Wednesday. The album's first print limited edition includes an artbook, which contains the illustrations JaeHoon Choi drew that inspired the music video.
Iwai wrote, directed, and composed the music for The Case of Hana & Alice, his first-feature length anime film and prequel to his earlier live-action film Hana & Alice. The film debuted in February 2015. Iwai previously wrote Baton — the 65-minute hybrid American/Japanese, live-action/animated work that another live-action filmmaker, Ryuhei Kitamura, directed.
The 29th annual Tokyo International Film Festival will highlight Iwai's works in its Japan Now section from October 25-November 3.
RADWIMPS composed over 22 tracks for Makoto Shinkai's your name. anime film's soundtrack, as well as the film's theme songs "Zen Zen Zense (movie ver.)," "Sparkle," "Yume Tōrō (movie ver.)," and "Nandemo Ii ya (movie edit/movie ver.)."
