Creators in Pack animates Naoko Kodama's manga

The official Twitter account for the television anime of Naoko Kodama's yuri manga NTR: Netsuzou Trap revealed the anime's staff and a new visual on Wednesday.

Hisayoshi Hirasawa (OZMAFIA!!, Kiitaro's yokai picture diary, Miss Bernard said.) is credited as chief director for the anime at Creators in Pack. WORDS in STEREO (Kiitaro's yokai picture diary) and Yūichi Uchibori (Miss Bernard said.) are writing the script. Masaru Kawashima (Soul Eater, Penguindrum, Kiznaiver key animation) is designing the characters.

The anime's official website has the text blurb, "We have a secret we can't tell our boyfriends." Seven Seas publishes the manga in North America, and it describes the story:

Yuma and Hotaru have been friends since childhood. It is only natural that when Yuma is nervous about her new boyfriend, she asks Hotaru along with her boyfriend for a double date. But when Hotaru offers herself to Yuma as "practice," both girls realize that they're more interested in each other than they are in their own boyfriends.

With boyfriends in the foreground but a secret, passionate tryst in the background, will Yuma and Hotaru try to forget what happened between them or have they fallen into a trap of true love and betrayal?

Ai Kakuma plays the protagonist Yuma Okasaki, and Hiromi Igarashi plays her childhood friend Hotaru Mizushina. Daisuke Ono plays Fujiwara, Hotaru's boyfriend who suspects the relationship between Hotaru and Yuma. Ryota Ohsaka plays Takeda, Yuma's boyfriend.

The anime will premiere this year.

Kodama began the series in 2014 in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine. Ichijinsha published the third compiled book volume on November 18. Seven Seas published the second volume on December 13.
