Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed a new idol character for the The IDOLM@STER Stella Stage PlayStation 4 game at Tokyo Game Show 2017 on Saturday. Her name is Shiika and she's a new idol attached to 961 Pro. The character was previously teased on the game's official website.

In the game, players take on the role of a producer at 765 Pro. The presidents of 765 Pro and rival production company 961 Pro decide to hold a joint live concert called "Stella Stage," and in anticipation of the live event the player will manage one of the 13 idols from 765 Pro. Like previous installments in the game franchise, the game will include both training and live performances. In the latter, players can choose outfits for their idols and play along with their performances in a rhythm game.

The game will add a new "coaching" system, which is tied to the idols' skills, and "off" system, where players can spend time with idols while off work.

The game is slated for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 21. A limited edition will include a music magazine, drama CD, 765 Pro calendar, 765 Pro badge, 765 Pro lanyard, special box, PlayStation 4 themes, and outfit DLC.

Bandai Namco Entertainment also streamed a video for a the seventh DLC for The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution PlayStation VR game. The DLC arrives on September 28 and features the song "ØωØver!!"
