FK Digital revealed new footage for the newest installment in its Chaos Code fighting game series during the Tōshinsai 2017 fighting game tournament on Sunday. The video shows some new moves for a few of the characters in the game. The game is tentatively titled The Next Chaos Code, and is planned for a release on Steam.
FK Digital first announced the game at last year's Tōshinsai event.
Unique features to the game series include each character having a set of four "edit" moves in addition to their special moves, but only two of which can be selected and performed each match. Players must also choose between the faster "run" and the slower but more versatile "step" movement options before matches begin.
Arc System Works released Chaos Code: New Sign of Catastrophe, the previous installment in the game series, on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on March 15. Arc System Works launched the game in Japan as a digital PS4 title in November 2016. The game is a sequel of FK Digital and Arc System Works' Chaos Code fighting game, which launched as a digital release on PlayStation 3 in North America in September 2013.
