Next Comic Flapper issue includes more anime info; official site opens this month

The April issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine is announcing on Monday that the television anime of Tadataka Kawasaki's Chio-chan no Tsūgakuro (Chio's School Commute) manga has been delayed to a July premiere. The magazine noted that its next issue in April will include more information about the anime, and the anime's official website will open this month.

The magazine previously announced in January that the anime will premiere in April.

Kawasaki launched the manga in Monthly Comic Flapper in 2014, and Kadokawa published the manga's seventh compiled volume last September

The "dramatic extreme going to school comedy" manga follows the titular female high school student Chio Miyamo, and her adventures to commute to school every day. Chio runs in to problems both big and small, such as construction, a biker gang, a sudden urge to use the bathroom, and more.

The manga won the "Flapper Award" at the ninth "MF Comics Awards."

Digital Manga's Project-H imprint published Kawasaki's I'm Coming with You! adult manga in English in 2014.
