2018 Pokémon Film Gets 'Episode Zeraora' Side Story Manga

This year's May issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine announced on Friday that it will publish a side story manga series for the upcoming 21st film in the Pokémon franchise, Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari (Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story). A preview ran in the issue, and the series will launch in full in the magazine's next issue in May.
The manga is titled Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari Gaiden -Episode Zeraora- (Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story Side Story -Episode Zeraora-). Kemon Kawamoto (Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel manga, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! one-shot) is drawing the series.
Zeraora (pictured right) is a new Mythical Pokémon that will appear in the film.
The new film will open in theaters in Japan on July 13. The story is set during the annual Wind Festival at Frau City, which is blessed with wind from the Legendary Pokémon Lugia.
