Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 6 Game Gets Stage Play in June

The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 (Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 6) game is inspiring a stage play adaptation starring idol group Tsubaki Factory's members. The play titled Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 Gaiden ~Tasogare no Kamen~ (Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 6 Side Story, Twilight Mask) will run at Sunshine Theatre in Tokyo from June 6-16 and at Mielparque Hall in Osaka from June 22-23.
Hideyuki Nishimori is returning from the previous plays to direct, and Ken Yoshida is writing the scripts.
Last year marked the 10th anniversary of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de stage plays. The stage play adaptation of the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 game ran in Tokyo and Osaka in December. The stage play adaptation of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 Gentō Rondo ran in May 2017. Nishimori directed both plays.
The original Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 game shipped in Japan for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable in March 2015. A new version of the game for the Nintendo Switch will ship on March 14. The manga adaptation of the game ended in January.
KOEI's Harukanaru Toki no Naka de romance adventure game franchise has inspired a number of game follow-ups, original video anime, and manga. The 2004-2005 television anime Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians is based on the first PlayStation game. Bandai Entertainment previously released the television anime in North America, and the anime is now streaming on Tubi TV.
