Crunchyroll Adds Twin Star Exorcists Anime's English Dub

Dub of 2016 series is available streaming now

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it has added the English dub of the Twin Star Exorcists anime.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Grotesque monsters known as Impurities reside in Magano, a realm parallel to the present day. Exorcists purify these evil apparitions to protect the people. Rokuro Enmado is opposed to becoming an exorcist, even though he has the talent to be one, but an oracle gives him the title of "Twin Star Exorcist," the name bestowed upon married exorcists. Benio Adashino, the girl who receives the title along with Rokuro, is determined to exorcise all the Kegare, or Impurities, in the world. The two find themselves wrapped up in more and more battles together as the Twin Star Exorcists...

The television anime adaptation of Yoshiaki Sukeno's Twin Star Exorcists manga premiered in Japan in 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Funimation released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD with an English dub.

Tomohisa Taguchi (Persona 4 the Golden Animation, Persona 3 the Movie #2 Midsummer Knight's Dream, Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth) directed the series at Studio Pierrot (Naruto Shippūden, Tokyo Ghoul, Yona of the Dawn). Shishō Igarashi (Unlimited Psychic Squad director) served as assistant director, Naruhisa Arakawa (MAOYU, Outbreak Company, Kingdom) handled the series composition, Kikuko Sadakata (Corpse Princess, Muromi-san, Devils and Realist) designed the characters, and Itsuko Takeda (Level E, Kingdom) was the chief animation director.

Sukeno (Binbogami ga!) launched the "new-generation onmyō (ancient Japanese occultism) fantasy" in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in 2013. Viz Media is publishing the manga in North America.
