Arc System Works Reveals Kowloon Yōma Gakuen-ki Switch Game

Game with visual novel, dungeon crawling elements slated for spring 2020 in Japan
Nintendo revealed during its Japanese Nintendo Direct stream on Thursday that Arc System Works is developing a new adventure game titled Kowloon Yōma Gakuen-ki for the Nintendo Switch. The game will launch in Japan in spring 2020.
The game has both visual novel and dungeon crawling gameplay elements. During the visual novel sections set in school, players choose from a set of eight general emotional responses to characters, and choices affect the characters' responses, actions, and role in the story. In the dungeon crawling sections, players are in a first-person view, and solve mysteries within ancient ruins around the world.
