Machi Asobi Vol.23 Event Delayed Due to Typhoon

Climax Run event delayed to October 26-27

The organizers of the Machi Asobi anime event announced on Wednesday that the Machi Asobi Vol.23 Climax Run event has been delayed due to Typhoon Hagibis (also known as Typhoon #19). The event, originally scheduled for October 12-14, has been postponed to October 26-27.

The official website for the anime of Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga announced on Wednesday that the Machi Asobi events related to the anime will also be postponed or cancelled.

Anime studio ufotable organizes the Machi Asobi event in Tokushima. The events have had more than 1 million attendees since they began in 2009.

ufotable company founder, representative director, and president Hikaru Kondo resigned from his role as chairman of the executive committee for the Machi Asobi event in May. Vice president Junko Tominaga, representative of the NPO Awa Bunka Salon, became acting chairman in April.
