Frontier Works announced on Monday that the Steam release date for its Heroic Songs: the Remix! game has been delayed to October 8 to focus on improving the game's quality. Additionally, the company started streaming the game's opening movie on Monday.

The game was initially slated to launch on Steam on September 15. The game will still launch digitally for Nintendo Switch on November 27.
Frontier Works describes the story of the "idol x city-building simulation game":
You were at a concert performance by the top idol, Ruri Tsukuyomi, when you suddenly woke up in an unfamiliar world. It's here that you're rescued by the idol-loving Akari Sunohara and you get the rundown of your situation from Moku-san, a flower fairy. You and Akari have both fallen into a space between worlds, and for now, there's no way back. Your only hope lies in Akari's potential as an idol. In this other world, idols are special beings who can restore lost resonance and become a beacon of hope for the people. To find your way home, you must build your own idol sanctuary, known as the Fanctuary, together with Akari and rise with her as her manager. Together, you can reunite all the worlds!
In the game, players can place roads and buildings, gather resources, and grow their town as an idol sanctuary. The game also features concert performance mini-games that will level up the idols.
