Anime India Kolkata Reveals Schedule; Susumu Mitsunaka's Panel Timings

Akari Yura (The Beginning After The End, Catch Me at the Ballpark! voice actor) and Misaki will perform as a musical act at the convention's "Live House" concert on February 15 at 7:45 p.m. IST. Akari will also participate in a panel at 4:45 p.m. IST on the same day. Both guests will have a meet & greet on February 14 at 3:15 p.m. IST.
The event will also screen the second episode of the third season of Spy×Family with a Hindi dub on February 14 at 11:15 a.m. IST. It will screen Scum of the Brave in Japanese with English subtitles at 11:15 a.m. IST.
Anime India will host the upcoming event at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata on February 14 and February 15.
Mitsunaka has directed anime films such as HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle and Case Closed: The Bride of Halloween, and directed television anime such as Haikyu!! and Cuticle Detective Inaba. He has been key animator on films such as Weathering With You, The Boy and the Heron, and InuYasha the Movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island, and on television anime such as Chihayafuru and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2.
Anime India's previous event took place from August 22 through August 24 at NESCO BEC in Mumbai.
Director Tetsuro Araki attended the event as the "flagship guest." Voice actor Tsunko (D4DJ First Mix, D4DJ All Mix), president of Avex Pictures' Hideo Katsumata, and DJ Tōko Nakamura also attended the event as guests. Hikari Dobashi attended the event as an exhibitor representing TV Tokyo.
The event also featured DJ performances, a film festival, a cosplay showcase, and fighting game events. Fan-led panels covered topics like "Green Yuri!!! on Ice Fan Panel (BL/Yuri)," "The Curse of Evangelion," "Choose Your Fighter!: A Summit of the Indian Fighting Games Community," and "Tracking the Indian Anime Fandom."
