The Addition of an Optional Volunteer in Japan combined with Tokyo Maximum Tour 2011

Destination Japan Announces the Addition of an Optional Volunteer in Japan Tour Combined with Their Tokyo Maximum Tour 2011 - Recognized by the Tokyo Game Show as the Official Tour from the U.S.A.

Visiting Tokyo Game Show, Akihabara, Shibuya, and the Miyagi Prefecture for the Volunteer in Japan product

LOS ANGELES, CA – Jul 27, 2011 - Destination Japan/H.I.S.' Tokyo Maximum Tour becomes a once in a lifetime experience tour with the addition of the optional Volunteer package in the affected area of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami on 11 March.

H.I.S. VP Jim Kelly states, “People don't see the disastrous situation on TV as often as before here in the U.S.A. anymore but until now countless residents are still having tough times, spending nights at shelters, and putting all their efforts into the recovery of their towns and homes. The cleanup areas are still huge and the manpower needs are seemingly endless even now. Tokyo Maximum Tour 2011 takes steps to promote the recovery of Japan by bringing tourists back to Tokyo and now give people a hands-on chance to really help Japan with the addition of the Volunteer Package in the Tohoku area. The Tokyo Maximum Tour 2011 takes place from Sep 14 to Sep 22 and Optional Volunteer Package takes place from Sep 22 to Sep 26, 2011.

The Tokyo Maximum 9 day and 7 night tour includes the admission to the Tokyo Game Show 2011, a Tokyo sightseeing tour, a shopping day in Tokyo escorted by one of our staff, a walking tour in popular areas like Akihabara, Harajuku, and Shibuya by taking local trains, and an exciting Karaoke Night. Destination Japan calls the tour a "one-of-a-kind experience on a tour with flexibility you won't find with any other tour service." An experienced, bilingual tour guide will be available to help negotiate the city and give advice. Destination Japan wants to assure the participants that Japan is still the safe, beautiful, and exciting destination it has always been.

The Volunteer Package includes the transportation between Tokyo and the Volunteer site in Miyagi, 4 nights accommodation, 3 dinners, 3 lunch, 3 breakfasts, and 2 and half days of volunteer work. It also includes an escort by an English speaking staff.
