The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is Heating Up With Glorious New Cards
LOS ANGELES – (May 11, 2026) – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) is releasing two new Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) booster sets in May and June! These sets include a variety of tournament-level cards that will heat up the intensity of Duels. They also contain a gallery of favorites for collectors and competitive Duelists alike.
In May, Blazing Dominion will hit shelves, featuring new cards inspired by Jack Atlas from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's! These cards can be integrated into strategies that focus on Synchro Summoning, including those built around Jack's signature Red Dragon Archfiend!
The Crimson King, for example, is a new Level 8 Synchro Monster that adds any card that mentions Red Dragon Archfiendfrom your Deck to your hand. It also has a Quick Effect that lets you Special Summon Red Dragon Archfiend from your Extra Deck with its Attack Points doubled and protection from an opponent's card effects.
Lots of Jack Atlas' old monsters are also reimagined in Blazing Dominion. Crimson Blader emerges as a Level 7 Synchro Monster that can Special Summon or add to your hand any Level 8 or higher monster that cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Plus, it will instantly destroy any Level 5 or higher monster that it battles. The cards that Jack used to Synchro Summon his strongest monsters are also reimagined in Blazing Dominion. Jack's classic Vice Dragon, for example, returns as the new Power Vice Dragon! It can Special Summon itself from the hand and get a “Resonator” monster from the Deck, facilitating Synchro Summons. In addition, if you Synchro Summon Red Dragon Archfiend by using Power Vice Dragon as Synchro Material, your Red Dragon Archfiend cannot be destroyed by battle!
Jack Atlas isn't the only character from the past with a theme getting support in Blazing Dominion. Anna Kaboom from Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is known for her Level 10 EARTH Machines – many of which are trains – and the Rank 10 monsters that they can be used to Xyz Summon. Blazing Dominion adds a couple new Level 10 EARTH Machines to the mix, plus two Rank 10 Superdreadnought Xyz Monsters that you can make with them. One of the new Superdreadnought Xyz Monsters gives you an Extra Normal Summon for a Machine each turn and lets you add any EARTH Machine or Barrage Blast to your hand when it's Xyz Summoned. It can also destroy Spells and Traps on the field by detaching Xyz Materials. The second Superdreadnought Xyz Monster can negate an opponent's monster effect before blowing up that monster and inflicting 1000 points of damage to an opponent from the explosion!
There's also a new Spell Card in Blazing Dominion that helps bring together the strategy built around Anna Kaboom's trains. This Spell Card can add Special Schedule or Urgent Schedule to your hand and then can Summon a Token to an opponent's field. Giving your opponent a Token so that he or she controls more monsters than you will allow you to activate Urgent Schedule on the first turn of a Duel!
While fiery Archfiend cards and weaponized trains are a big part of Blazing Dominion, the set isn't all doom and gloom. Sometimes, it's a fairy tale. That's because “Fairy Tail” cards are back!
A bunch of new “Fairy Tail” cards will mitigate the force of the more brutal themes. A new Level 4 “Fairy Tail” monster in Blazing Dominion adds any “Fairy Tail” Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand, and a new Equip Spell Card will lead the way to Summon two new “Fairy Tail” Fusion Monsters! Rounding out the updates to the “Fairy Tail” theme, Blazing Dominion also includes a Rank 4 DARK Xyz Monster that protects your LIGHT “Fairy Tail” monsters, fills up your Graveyard with “Fairy Tail” cards, and can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard!
There's a lot more in Blazing Dominion too! It also includes new “Kewl Tune”, “Hecahands”, “Predaplant”, “Enneacraft”, and “DoomZ” cards. There's also a new “Solemn” Trap Card that can be activated the same turn it's Set, a new “Dominus” Trap Card, and more tech cards for Duelists to use in their competitive Decks!
New monsters will take dominion over the Dueling field on May 8, 2026, when Blazing Dominion launches in stores. Blazing Dominion contains 100 cards, including 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 14 Ultra Rares, and 10 Secret Rares. Twenty-five cards in the set are available as Starlight Rares. MSRP is $4.49 per booster pack.
In June, an entirely new set of monsters go on display in Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery! This special booster set contains new variant art cards, more extended art cards, and rarity upgrades!
First in the gallery, there are 10 fresh variant art cards featuring a chibi art style, newly created for popular monsters like Dark Magician Girl, Summoned Skull, Tour Guide From the Underworld, and even Exodia the Forbidden One! These tiny, adorable monsters pack the same power as their original (and sometimes ferocious) counterparts.
Next in the gallery, 10 new extended art cards follow the 10 that were initially released in Rarity Collection V. These include popular tournament-level cards like Dominus Impulse and Chaos Angel, as well as fan-favorites like Dragon Master Magia and Supreme King Z-ARC. All extended art cards in Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery have Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare versions.
Third in the gallery, foil upgrades of cards that were not previously available as foils are finally obtainable. Reprints of previously hard-to-find cards like Tiras, Keeper of Genesis and Armades, Keeper of Boundaries are also included in the glorious gallery.
Finally, Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery contains 40 brand-new cards! These cards support a variety of themes including “Shaddoll”, “'tellarknight”, “Junk”, and “HERO”.
The glorious gallery goes on display on June 5, 2026, when Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery officially releases in stores. There are 146 cards in total in the set, and all of them are foil! Each 5-card booster pack contains 1 Secret Rare and 4 Ultra Rares. Look for packs that include a Starlight Rare upgrade! MSRP is $4.49 per pack.
