Unova Champion Iris and Her Partner Pokémon Hydreigon Arrive in Pokémon Masters EX

New trailer showcases the arrival of Champions from every region of the Pokémon world to the game

TOKYO—March 18, 2021—DeNA Co., Ltd., in partnership with The Pokémon Company, has announced that Unova Champion Iris and her partner Pokémon Hydreigon are now available to add to players' teams in Pokémon Masters EX via the sync pair spotlight scout, available from now until April 1 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. This Tech-type sync pair can deploy moves like Breaking Swipe, which lowers all opponents' Attack, and Snarl, which lowers all opponents' Sp. Atk. These moves can be strategically combined with Iris & Hydreigon's sync move, Triple Threat Dragon Rush, which increases in power the more the target's stats have been lowered.

New Trailer Featuring Champions From Every Region
With the arrival of Iris, and Kalos Champion Diantha and her partner Pokémon Gardevoir on March 30 at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Champions from every region of the Pokémon world will have arrived on the shores of Pasio. Other Champions, along with their partner Pokémon, in the game include: Blue & Pidgeot, Sygna Suit Blue & Venusaur, Lance & Dragonite, Steven & Metagross, Steven (Summer 2020) & Sandslash, Cynthia & Garchomp, Sygna Suit Cynthia & Kommo-o, and Alder & Volcarona. A trailer showcasing these Champions can be found here on the official Pokémon Masters EX YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/1npnBAvhU_s.

Story Event Featuring Iris, Diantha, and Lance
The Shining Heart of Dragons Story Event, featuring Champions Iris, Diantha, and Lance, is available from now until April 1st at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. In this event, players will be able to battle and earn in-game rewards, as they watch various Champions interact with one another. A log-in bonus is also available and offers players up to 1,000 Gems and other in-game rewards if they log-in each day during the event.

Rewards from Leon and Marnie Retweet Rally
A Retweet rally was held in early March, in which if enough players retweeted the trailer on the game's official Japanese Twitter(@pokemas_game) and English Twitter (@PokémonMasters) pages, 3,000 Gems and 60 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets (enough to use the 5★-Guaranteed Scout two times) would be distributed to all players. The player community easily made this happen, and as a result, all players will receive these rewards, available to collect from now until Mach 30 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Note that these Gems are separate from the 10,000 Gems being given away via various log-in bonuses between February 25 at 10:00 p.m. Pacific Time until March 30 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

Returning Legendary Event – Cyrus & Palkia
The sync pair of Cyrus & Palkia return in an in-game event titled New World Dilemma, which is available now until April 7 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. In this event, players will embark on an adventure with Cyrus, the boss of the villainous Team Galactic, and Sygna Suit Cynthia. Players who complete New World Dilemma will have the sync pair of Cyrus & Palkia join their teams.

Players can check the in-game menus for more information. Note that in-game event dates are subject to change without notice.
