Look North and Bandai Namco Launch Major Update to Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red Vs Blue Today in Fortnite
March 7th, 2025 — Look North World, a pioneering UGC game studio and publisher led by Alexander Seropian, Bungie founder and former Disney executive, and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., today launched a major update to GUNDAM: REQUIEM FOR VENGEANCE RED VS BLUE via Unreal® Engine for Fortnite (UEFN).
In GUNDAM: REQUIEM FOR VENGEANCE RED VS BLUE, players choose Team Red, the Principality of Zeon, or Team Blue, the Earth Federation forces, and step into the chaos of the One Year War. Originally launched in November 2024, the game combines the fast-paced, weapon-packed excitement of Fortnite with the thrilling world of Mobile Suit Gundam. It has been repeatedly featured by Epic in “Epic's Picks” and “New & Updated” and has exceeded UEFN ecosystem averages, with an outstanding 60% of players rating their last match as fun, and nearly 50M triggers of Fortnite XP granted to players engaging with the map.
Today's release is a major update to the experience, providing a faster, more frenetic pace. The brand-new map, a recreation of the classic Red vs Blue map, encourages quick traversal and increased gadget use in a smaller arena. Adjustments have been made to the reward system to provide instant access to a large suite of weapons, timed unlocks for even more weapons, as well as items, gadgets, and vehicles, and the ability to earn currency that unlocks special vehicles. Fans will also be treated to brand-new Gundam and Zaku mobile suit animations, elevating the epic battle as players revel in the sight of their suit coming to life and wreaking havoc on builds, bases, and enemies. Eliminating enemies activates your team's mobile suit, while damaging the enemy mobile suit delays its activation, adding strategic depth and rewarding coordinated play.
