About GASHAPON™

Launched by toy manufacturer Bandai in 1977, the authentic Japanese GASHAPON™ experience expends to UK audiences. Visitors can immerse themselves in collecting a sheer variety of toy miniatures from adored brands in a toys and games store that historically attracts locals and tourists. All visitors need to do is insert a token into the machine and crank the handle to receive a capsule. The GASHAPON name derives from the Japanese onomatopoeia – ‘GASHA’ from the sound it makes when cranking the handle, and ‘PON’ from the sound of the capsule being dispensed.

Bandai Namco Pop-Up in Hamleys London Regent Street can be visited from today.
