| Fruits Basket | Graphic novel 12 (I'm so mad at myself for starting off buying the 12th volume. I've seen the anime and read most of the manga, just never bought it. I hope to go back and get the others. I loved this volume! *spoilers* I was so happy with the whole Kagura and Kyo scene where she told him that she wasn't sure she really loved him. It was so touching, and yet great because I had suspected that Kagura never really accepted Kyo's other form. Now it's out there! *end spoiler* I also loved how it was serious and funny at the same time, especially in the scene with Shigure and Tohru's teacher, Or when Hatori said he didn't want his suit back. Anyway, I can't wait to get the rest of the series) | |
| Loveless | Graphic novel 1 (Normally I don't read a lot of shoujo manga. And I am utter opposed to the color pink, which is the color of the cover of this volume. But I couldn't resist buying it. It's such a touching story really, if you can get over the fact that Ritsuka is in the 6th grade and Soubi is in college. The shonen ai element is soooo cute! I love the art, especially in the part where Ritsuka has a lady take a picture of him and Soubi together, they look so cute. The theme of the story tends to be a little dark sometimes but it is told in such a way that you don't feel to depressed. Finally, there's a reason for people to have cat ears, which is cool. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the fight scenes can be difficult to follow at first, But still, a great story a five out of five) | |

It's so funny with hints of yaoi relationships, but nothing outright. Plently of action and suspense along with the humor and romance. It's not your typical vampire story.) | |
