Ooooh, this is great! I've heard such good things about the manga that I purchased the first two volumes *impatiently waiting for them to arrive* I wonder if I should put off reading the manga until after the anime adaption...that way I won't be disappointed at any changes made to the story (I'm the type of person who usually prefers the manga to the anime).

Oh cool, so Production I.G. is doing one of the noitaminA shows this summer and BONES is doing the other? Now I have something to look forward to next year! Last time they each did series it was Eden of the East and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (winner of the Media Arts Award) respectively. Man, I love this time slot. Very Happy

Does anyone think this would make a pretty good film in the west? Maybe even a TV series? Just a thought.

Not counting Big Daddy by Sandler, obviously.

Still, concept-wise...

I was flipping through the first book the other day (conclusion: Yep, gonna buy this when I have the money) and I had been thinking this would make a great noitaminA title, glad to see Production IG thinks the same.

"Little sister"? If it's his grandfather's illegitimate kid, it would be his aunt.

That said, I'm all for this newer Aishiteruze Baby.

Can't wait for this. The manga is wonderful. Waiting 6 months for a volume release is hard.

This is wonderful, out-of-the-blue news. Since it's Noitamina, maybe Funimation will pick it up? Either way, I'd love to see it, and hope it's a lovely adaptation of the manga.
