Now the acts of charity are even benefiting the manga publisher! There's such perfect symbiosis here. The children benefit from the donated the goods and money (hopefully the Japanese have fewer leeches and weird laws/red tape to get in the way) and now the manga publisher benefits from the increased interest in Tiger Mask.

Wouldn't it be nice if this were the beginning of a shift in public opinion about otaku over there? Being associated with charity is a lot better than being associated with a serial killer.

Makes you want to do some random act like this yourself right?
