I'm trying to settle a debate with my friend. the debate is did gundam come BEFORE macross. please help settle this god damn debate and set my friend's history STRAIGHT

According to the ANN Encyclopedia, Gundam started in 1979, while Macross started in 1982.

I'll confirm...I remember when they both came out. Macross came out after the first Gundam series (Mobile Suit Gundam). In fact, all 43 episodes (of MSG) aired 2 years before Macross came out.

This is another argument with my friend after he found that macross came later than gundam
 . Which game is better? macross/robotech games or gundam games???

There are a lot of Gundam games made that never hit the US shores (quite a few that ran on the Famicom, Super Famicom, Playstation and Playstation 2)...you can also count the number of macross and robotech games on your two hands. So to compare the games from those series would be sorta unfair.
As far as English versions of "Gundam" and "Robotech/Macross"...that's really based on opinion. I'm leaning towards Robotech:Battlecry cause you have variable mecha in a variety of environments. But that's my opinion. |
