We're making some changes to speed up the servers, and for the most part the results seem pretty good.
But a few images have broken as a result of this. We should have them all fixed within 24 hours. So don't worry if you're seeing the "use your own" image. |

I used to have this problem on my android, but I never complained because I know this site doesn't have a mobile version. Nowadays I use my company's Acer, and haven't spotted that many issues besides not being able to click on the spoiler tag.

No, that's an RSS File that didn't load. Is this happening to you regularly ? |

The site did that for me this morning. Once I allowed calls to 4nn.cx, everything loaded smoothly.
Which reminds me, what is the point of the second domain name? |

No, not regularly. Sometimes it happens, but I can refresh it away, but it has been like this all day today.
EDIT: Also, if I double click the little error icon at the bottom, it gives me these:
Don't know if that helps. |

Ok, so this only happens at work where I use IE6, so it's probably just because IE6 is a million years old.

Mostly for this. I actually don't know why we're using 4nn.cx for images, something to do with the new CDN. Dan can shed more light. TBH though, I have no qualms about when the site breaks for people who are blocking stuff like that way. I know you support the site via subscription, but a lot of other people do it to block ads and don't support the site in any way. Although we don't go out of our way to annoy people using script blocking/ad blocking, I won't fix "bugs" that occur because of it either. |

Hmm, that's completely unrelated. The Prototype JavaScript Framework isn't loading in your IE6 install for some reason. I'll show this to Dan. The answer is probably not to use IE6 though... |

I don't know if it related, but I'm now having problems on the PC in work.
In Firefox 3.5.2 I'm not getting the tabs at the top, and the copyright text is appearing at the top of the page rather than at the bottom and the side bar contents in the middle column. I can't take a screenshot right now since the image sharing sites are all blocked here. Haven't tried logging out yet. In IE7 I have again no tabs, and since I'm logged out I have a vertical stack of ads at the top. Again the side bar content is below the main content in the middle column, but the copyright text is at the bottom of the page. --edit-- At home I have no problem in IE9, Chrome 10 and Firefox 3.6.13. Was a busy day so couldn't get any more detailed info and I won't be back in work now for over a week. |

Can't say I blame you Tempest. I know how easy it just to download the latest version of Firefox and install a Advertisement blocker via Firefox download market or elsewhere, but I always found it to be more work for little results and always wondered if that 3rd party company kept and sold your information if you uninstalled the program or even during when you had the program. Yet in all the years I've been here, I've had maybe only one or two problems total. Then again though, I use Firefox instead of IE and I also use the most current versions when they are released as well. Yet I don't understand why some companies still use IE 6. I mean if your going to use IE, why not use the latest version? That would be IE 9 and it was released not too long ago. |
