 I usually watch my anime on [EDIT: this is an illegal streaming site - Key] and I noticed that they came out with a hunter x hunter 2011, but it's repeating the same episode, nothing is new, like are they coming out with a new season or what?

Try to use some other site, the one I use works fine. It's up to episode 4 now.

Hunter x Hunter (2011) is, for lack of a better term, a remake of the previous Hunter x Hunter anime. The are already four episodes out as of now. The new Hunter x Hunter anime is moving at a faster pace than the first one because there's a lot to cover in a limited amount of episodes. I believe the 2011 anime will try to cover the new arc recently included in the manga, but I'm not sure. The first Hunter x Hunter anime ended with Greed Island, if you recall. Basically, the new Hunter x Hunter will start from the very beginning with just some slight changes (Kaito was not introduced yet, if you noticed), and will cover the entire story that the first anime did, and probably add more.

people say its going fast but I've been told by people who read the manga that it's been covering 2 chapters per episode (which is normal) and just cutting out all the filler the first series had.

Then its quite fast.
If it were like One Piece it would take one whole month in real life of waiting for episodes to get through 10 minutes of walking around a island.
NO FILLERS = GOOD.

This HxH remake is fast...by shounen anime standards.

You sure that's right ANN? Only 13 episodes? Why bother remake then. Should've just made a sequel.

That was talked about in a previous thread. It wasn't really clarified, but that's all the I've found so far.
