I just bought the entire set of Dvds of Rurouni Kenshin.

The back cover stated there are 94 episodes.

I looked at this website it stated 95 episodes. I am pretty confused... Is the last episode part of the OVA or something?

I heard this episode is "unaired" too. So how can I find this episode...? Confused

I appreciate if anyone can tell me... thanks Very Happy

There are in fact 95 episode spread on 22 DVD.

I think you bought the bootlegged-version boxset that's like 12 or something dvd total.

So the last episode is not part of the OVA? it is on the TV series itself? Confused

I havn't watch all of kenshin, but I believe it's a special never broadcast episode, so if your set was tv-rip than it might not include this episode. That's just my prediction though.

You have a bootleg there, and not even a "good" one. There are, in fact, 95 episodes.

I use to have the "fx" bootleg set, and they were direct burns of the R1 with the dub and subs and all 95 episodes. The last one was never aired on TV in Japan and went straight to video, but it isn't an OAV, more like a special.

Anyway, I would recommend you not even watch episode 63 and beyond. It has nothing to do with the manga and doesn't even have any good filler at that.

The Son of God saga was decent IMO, but yeah, after Makoto, the series does a nose dive.

You've definitely got a bootleg. I have the entire series on DVD and it's got the 95th episode on the last disc. As for that episode, it was never aired on TV because the show was cancelled. So I guess they included the episode on the DVD version as a bonus.
