I don't think she was dropped. I think it was planned from the get go that she would do one album and the singles for that album.

Is the album a narrative concept album, a la something like Sound Horizon? I love Maeda's music and stories, so I think that kind of medium could really work for him. He's one awesome, multitalented dude!

I'm a massive fan of both Maeda and Nagi, but I found that song to be quite bland. Maybe I'll give it a few more listens later to see if it grows on me...

That song was indeed bland, because at some points she was just simply reciting the lyric like a robot. I am hoping that she can do a better job at singing the ending theme for the next anime thats coming out this winter.

Nagi was never part of Supercell and she wasn't dropped. She has her own circle that she produces songs in. The're quite a different style to Supercell.
