I didn't expect them to jump straight to "Subterranean Animism." From a lot of the comments I read, people pretty much thought "Mountain of Faith" would be the next one.

Given the plot of behind Subterranean Animism I think they decided to go with that one since pretty much all of the important characters from Mountain of Faith (depends on how important you think Momiji and Hina are) appear in Subterranean Animism.

Well Hina is my favorite from MOF ^-^" and Momiji is a close tied with Kanako. But I do love Orin and Ooku!!
