I've recieved three e-mails about a topic, but when I open the mail, it says "only users granted special access can read topics in this forum". If I can't read this mail, why then have i recieved it.

You're receiving mail regarding that bootleg thread for some reason. It was moved to a private staff forum, which is why the links are denying you access.
