I just hope the character change is minor. Saw the pics from LN 8 and don't really like it compared to the pics in 1-7. Especially Chifuya.

If you mean the anime's art style, it's still the same as it was in the first season. It's only the novels' artist that changed.

Eh, what? I was under the impression that the first season already had plenty of plot. If anything, the second season will likely just have more of the same. Which is exactly what I want; I don't know what I'd do if season two cut back on the amount of plot we were shown.

Hey, I would never refer to Infinite Stratos like that. It was easily the best-written show of Winter 2011 (though Rio ~Rainbow Gate~ put up a honourable fight), and probably the best title of that year. The only reasons the overhyped PMMM outsold it 2:1 is because rabid Mahou Shoujo fans will buy any old Moe-blob crap, and because the series shamelessly name-dropped hacks like Kalafina and Gen Urobuchi.

I don't know where you got the idea that I hated Infinite Stratos. After all, it has robots and cute girls; what's not to like?

Mainly it has Laura and Charl, probably 2 of the most likeable harem heroines ever. Unfortunately is also has Houki, but lets hope Ichika friend zones here or something.

Okay its good of the character look the same in the anime, just thought the shift in the Light novels was drastic and not a good one.

Wait, I don't get it now...is this going to be a sequel to season 1, with the name RE:BOOT or they throw out season 1 and reboot the show according to the manga ?

It was all set up for a set up to nowhere! Unless you think the climatic battle against an empty suit was symbolic of the entire series is an example of good writing then this is one of the most unfocused, uninvolving harems involving combat suits ever made.

This is the only series that had battle suits fight other battle suits in a military academy without any sort of preamble plot device like, oh, war, invasion or Evil, because, and this is from the sole creator of the battle suits, they are cool {as are arms races, apparently?}. Why mostly women?

It is crap. With cute breasts, I admit to the breasts being a positive. Also the butts, legs, faces and what's left. Personalities?
