I know this is going to sound stupid, but how does anyone find those songs in the first place? There are so many Anime songs that I like and would like to have, but I don't know where to start with collecting them. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

find anime in encylcopedia and it tells what the ending and intro songs are to an anime and who sings them. If you want the in show music you can buy the OST's off the internet at places like ebay and others(don't know others) |

I buy soundtracks, personally, lots and lots of soundtracks. Then there's certain not so legal websites in existance if all else fails.

Of course the RIAA has no bussiness inforcing Japanese copyright law overseas here in the US, so if you download Japanese stuff your pretty much safe from them. Not that it's any more legal than downloading regular music, and probabally twice as hard to locate.

I only d/l music if it can't be gotten any other way, or possibly if it's $45 for a CD that would be $15 without the import cost.
If you guys knew what I went through with Amazon trying to order The First Donuts, you'd understand why I d/led it eventually. But certainly the composers of fine anime scores deserve some money if at all possible. Yes, lots of other people are making money off that CD too, welcome to capitalism. |

Downloading is a last resort for rare songs and albums where the albums can't be bought domestically or imported for a reasonable price, let's say $50-60 would be reasonable for good music in my opinion. I'd rather have a psysical album rather than digital files that can be lost very easily. I own 65 soundtracks personally. |
