Neither has Doramon but they keep pumping those out in Japan.

Both movies were made concurrently -- the plan was to release it in two parts, like Kill Bill.

Man I wish I could fly over there to see that! Of course I haven't seen the first one yet. Anyway this weekend I'm catching up on it since I'm only half-way throught the second.

That did feel pretty fast for a sequel though...I thought the first one came out in Japan this summer.
