My favorite anime is Eva and I think very highly of 3.0. Having said that, Wolf Children is the signature anime movie of 2013 for me without question.

Arg, no way should Soushi beat Gilbert! Soushi is a bonafide creeper who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Ririchiyo. Is he even all that loyal? He's constantly manipulating Ririchiyo into doing what he wants.

Picking my favorite Miyazaki film was a very difficult decision.
For me there were four tied for first place: Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and Spirited Away. I finally decided to pick Kiki's Delivery Service because it is the one that I most want to watch again right now. I do not have anything to say about the servants because I do not remember any of them. If you want one for laughs you could take Paul, Momoka's butler in Sgt. Frog. He is dashing because he has a huge mustache.

I can see Cicada from Last Exile, but I think there should be some mention of Lucciola, too, especially considering his actions at the end of the series.
Vampire Princess Miyu's Larva is, indeed, a good suggestion. |

These list columns are always fun. No one can remember everything. I can't think of one list I've ever made where I don't say "D'oh" at least once when someone makes a suggestion, or when I look at other people's lists. |
