The 5,000 volumes with a foil cover are what's limited.

Uhm, did Viz forget that alternative gimmick covers like foil covers, was a major contributing factor of the comic industry taking a nosedive in the 90’s (a crash it’s still working to recover from).

Viz was a part of the comic industry (technically) when that happen, so it’s only foolhardy they didn’t learn anything from that whole fiasco.

Speaking off, I have plenty foil covered Silver Sable 1# for sale (just kidding).

Hahahah, yeah really.. I can see the manga industry quickly taking a huge nosedive. "Warriors of Plasm vs. Naruto trading card series 1".... ugh.

Well if people are willing to pay twice for Kill Bill, they're willing to pay for a foil cover. But at least they're taking advantage of Yu Gi Oh while it's still hot. Still, whenever the fad dies down, I hope they publish it outside of Jump so they have something I'd want to read in there. Like Jojo or I's....

Why, that's absolutely retar....

...no, no. I'm not touching that. I might get a disease.

Furthermore, this is yet another example of how far behind Viz is with their competition. How long did it take them to set their pricing to compare with Tokyopop?

All I know is that if they have to sell Yu Gi Oh and Naruto with foil covers, then that might mean they're not doing as well as anticipated.
