I would like to get into the Tenjho Tenge manga. Is the editing of it still pretty bad or has CMX eased up on it? I really liked the anime and heard the manga counterpart is even better when it isn't being fooled around with.

Just a small question, are all 'world manga' published from left to right or are they any exceptions? I am asking this because I recently discovered that some French publisher has an interesting German manga in their collection, but their site states the book reads the Japanese way ( http://www.pika.fr/pika_fichemanga.php?id=655 )! If I recall correctly, another French company had once licensed an Oel ( http://www.ki-oon.com/?what=s_18 ) an added a dust jacket and flipped it, (or was it like that when it first came out here) I wonder if it's the same. So from what to what are the original German-language manga published? And if it is from left to right, why would they flip the reading sense of those, if they don't with manwha?
Ps: On a completely unrelated note, do someone knows how can Firefox be able to recognize Japanese instead of giving me a bunch of ?, if you know you'd be kind to send me a private message. |

The editing is really bad, you get about 50+ edit per volume. I would past on this title. |

Yikes. Even though I don't overly care about small edits, that amount of editting would even make me pass (if the lack of interest in the series hadn't already done that of course  )

I'm sure there are exceptions, but I can't think of any. Most comics written in any language but Japanese read left-to-right, although there are occasionally artists who draw "backwards" to make their art more manga-like. They're very much the exception, not the rule. |

Also of course "world manga" does not necessarily mean it was written in English originally, and thus the language of origin could read right-to-left and thus would be most likely left that way in translation. Like jgreen however, I can't think of any examples of this, but it is a case where it could happen.
I have a question of my own that randomly popped into my head: has any of the "world manga" been translated into Japanese that anyone knows of? If it has been, is it left in left-to-right format or do they get to experience flipped manga as well? |

I think Adam Warren's Dirty Pair was released in Japan, and I think it was left as left-to-right, though I could be wrong. I've seen Japanese releases of Spawn, too, and those were left-to-right. |

Well I have a question that has been bugging me for the past 2 weeks now or so...and I have tried looking in MANY places for the answer, including Viz's official site, but...
Does anyone know what happened to Angel Sanctuary volume 19? It was supposed to come out on April 10th, 2007, but I can't find it ANYWHERE. Normally (at least where I live) I can pick up most Viz mangas up to a week before the "street date", so I didn't think anything of it, but after April 10th, I still have yet to find it. I had it pre-ordered on Amazon, but they haven't shipped it yet (the date is still listed as 4/10). I checked Borders' Title Sleuth" and it just says "Item not published yet". I've pretty much been in every book store in central Ohio! Was there a publishing delay or something because of a mistake or anything else? And has this happened with anyone else's series that they were following? (This is the first time I've ever not been able to get ahold of something I am reading.) Any clues would be great Thanks!

Actually, these kinds of delays happen fairly often, I'm surprised this is the first time you've run into it. It's still coming, I'm sure, you've just got to be patient.

Hello,
I live in France and I've some difficulties to find one book of the collection Slayers Super-Explosive Demon Story. I'm actually wondering about the existence of the volume 8, Slayers Super-Explosive Demon Story : King of Ghost City. I've already contacted Central Park Media who didn't answered my question. I know that CPM " has delayed the street dates for this following release until further notice ". But I'm wondering if this sentence means that no one of the volume 8 were sold in the street ? I just wanna know if I can find it or no. (I add that I want this book in english  )

I think CPM stop releasing manga and I'm assuming they never release volume 8, but I don't know for sure since I'm not sure if CPM even release this title in the U.S. I check campusi and it show http://www.campusi.com/bookFind/asp/bookFindPriceLst.asp?prodId=1586649388 and this off the french wikipedia
