I saw From the New World and got excited . . . then realized it was the manga. I'd really wanna own that show on blu-ray and probably wouldn't mind checking out the novel, but I heard the manga is SO trashy . . .

Actually, pretty much all these anime titles look really fanservice heavy . . . . EXCEPT for Akira. Anime hyper Might wanna pick up Lone Wolf and Cub one of these days.

Where have I been sleeping to not realise that From the New World was getting an English manga release.
