Not liking the incest aspect but Ill give it a shot.

Also, the wiki page "The irregular at magic high school", shouldnt "Magic High School" be capitalized since it's used as a nickname for the school?

I rather enjoyed the comic, and it's the perfect length for a 12 episode run so this should turn out to be a great series.

Well here's hoping anyhow.

I think its safe to assume this'll be 24-26 episodes given that its Dengeki Bunkos new big property. Their two shows last season were both 2 cour as well (Strike the Blood and Golden Time), so thats mainly how they role with the big properties.

I'm looking forward to the opening since it's sung by Lisa. Also I don't understand how this is similar to Sword Art Online... The setting is completely different, character personality too, even the incest isn't really incest...

I mean the "Next SAO" as in an incredibly popular LN with a rage inducing story. It'll be a big hit and will also have many vocal haters as well if its anything like the LN.

There are actually a few simularities, most notably that Mahouka is the 2nd light novel ever to start as a self published web novel.

Heck, Reki even wrote an afterword for Mahouka volume 1!

So yeah, I'm pretty amused to see Lisa doing the opening. I doubt it'll be as rage enducing as SAO, though, mainly because only 2 of us are hyping it at all.

I do genuinely feel that Mahouka is a superior work than SAO.
