It's going to be really interesting to see how this connects to the rest of the franchise, since it's supposed to not be connected to any of the established characters. Since we already know that Kouga's going to pass the armor to his son Raiga, and that eventually Ryuga gets it and it's tarnished, I'm hoping for somewhere in the middle. I loved season 3 (oh, Ikeda, you crack me up in anything you're in), but while I understand that it was a story left to tell another day, I still want to know how the armor got like that (and out of the Saejima family's hands).
