Despite of the appearance I think it's actually quite healthy. Bamboo charcoal is a healthy ingredient, and I remember in Yakitate Japan there was a black bread containing that ingredient, plus they also explain the benefit of that ingredient and how Japanese people are not bugged with black-colored food.
I don't know why are you guys saying that it looks unappetizing. It looks great to me and I'm already craving for one. Black charcoal cheese, black pepper patty and squid ink? Oh wow, that sounds soooo yummy! If anything, Japanese always there to invent crazy food. Have you heard of totally unappetizing blue slime curry and the most disgusting beverage ever sold. In comparison of those things, these black foods look more interesting, don't you think? EDIT: after further reading I noticed that they previously had launched this type of burger in September 2012 for BK's 5th anniversary in Japan. I think it must had been successful that they decided to do it again. |

I'd try it. Although I've always wondered if I would be allergic to squid ink, since I have a seafood allergy.

not sure why people hate black that much.
I have those black bamboo cheese before, it was good. It's just a color, the taste is what it counts. |

This would never fly with the way our public reacts. I'd hella try both though.
Fast food cheese isn't cheese. Research it vs real cheese. Bamboo cheese? Sounds good. |

Actually, it's not healthy because it's a cheeseburger. I personally love really dark bread, like whole wheat and pumpernickel, but I have a feeling these buns are the same old fast food white bread buns you'd find anywhere, just colored black. |

Sure, it doesn't look that appetizing, but I'm willing to give the Diamond edition a chance, especially since it comes with lettuce and onion which may help with the flavor. Heck, I may even try to eat the regular all black no added color edition.
Try it once just to say you did!! (This is our Green eggs and ham.) |

I understand why the cheese looks the way it does and the bun as well. Why is the squid ink sauce chunky? Why am I asking questions about the "special" sauce?
"Kuro 2 Good to be true." There's truth in advertising and then there's this. Were they trying to say it's better than it looks rather than what the saying actually means? Kuro black, too good to be true. |

I'd try it.
On the coloured food note, I wish they'd bring back purple and green tomato ketchup. |

They should bring the black bun and black cheese out in the US for Halloween or something.
