All of that talk about Kaori playing a piece of music on the melodica while in the park's playground, and no one reviewing the episode mentions that it was what Pazu was playing on the trumpet near the beginning of Miyazaki's Laputa (after letting his birds out of their cages for the day)?
Yeah, it's more of an extraneous detail for a quick episode review, but I was quite surprised (and thrilled, since I don't usually hear Hisaishi's music being borrowed) to hear it. I suppose that it's been mentioned multiple times in the main thread for the Preview Guide or the thread for the series. ^^ These posts here are so lonely. ;p
