This is kind of hilarious and awesome. Can't wait to see it for myself... sometime... next year, probably.
As an aside, as you can probably see from that picture, Masako Nozawa is so, so rad. I've had the privilege of meeting her, and she's just one the nicest, funniest people you can ever hope to meet. It's amazing to me that she still does such a great job voicing Goku, and seems to have fun doing it on top of that. |

I patiently waited for Battle of Gods to get an English dub since the movie itself was a cool little nostalgia trip and I much more fondly remember the English version. But this? This is something I've gotta see! I've always wanted to see Momoclo voice anime characters.
Another reason I waited on the dub was because I thought BoG was a special one time thing (By the time this movie was announced I'd already bought my tickets to see BoG dubbed at the cinema) but this time around I haven't really got any reason to wait. |

Usually, I don't like those kind of publicity stunts, where [big name] is getting a role in [show's name] just because of the former's popularity, but since their roles is of minor, tertiary characters (at least that what is sounds like), I'm OK with it.
Just a thought here, but won't the words [minions] or [guardians] be a better fit?

The new movies are supposed to be canon right? It'll be interesting to see how they portray hell here? I wonder if they'll include Goz and Mez

Unlikely. The characters themselves are public domain ("Ox-Head" and "Horse-Face", guardians of Hell), but they only appeared in the Dragon Ball Z TV show. They're not Toriyama's doing. |
