i' m not sure whats so surprising about Baikanfu, he's like appeared so many times in the franchise like for ages.

No, Vikungfu hasn't. Machine Robo has only been in a handful of SRWs in the past (the Compact 2 series, Impact, & MX), with the second entry merely being a remake of the first.

Hooray still no Macross! Doubt this will ever come to the US but at least with no Macross the chances go up from one in a billion to one in a million lol!
