Considering that Hirano Fumi will also be there, instead of a tiny mention of her near the end, shouldn't the article highlight the fact that both the seiyuu for Lum and Ataru are at the same convention?

We already wrote an article about Hirano attending the convention, so we felt there was no need to write information about her again in a new article about the convention:
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-05-07/dallas-animefest-to-host-voice-actress-fumi-hirano-directors-shingo-natsume-and-shuhei-morita/.101802

ANN always follows this policy to just briefly mention previously announced guests at the end of a new guest announcement article.

Ha, I missed that article, even though I was the one who sent in the tip!

Personally I think it's pretty huge having the seiyuu for Lum and Ataru at the same con, and I'm sure that's what the staffers were going for too, so connecting the two for readers may have made for a more informative article. Just my two cents.

This also might be setting up for the 35th anniversary of the Urusei Yatsura anime. While I don't remember which YT video it was, there was a video of a Furukawa panel where he was showing a home video of his many toy figures. It was so big that he needed a closet to hold them.
