1. Yes, IIRC...
2. Niche companies usually don't provide sales info at all, and please do not look at VGChartz as a source, their numbers there are made up as they go, specifically for niche games.

Niche games like this usually end up selling spectacularly on Steam especially during sale price promotions.
the usual $60 price point for a console release is simply impractical if the gamer just wants to play a z grade narrative just to watch animated dolls fight zombies or whatever the mass spawn enemy is.

It sold maybe 20k in Japan on PS4 before hitting the bargain bin. Probably something similar in North America, if not less. I could see the Steam version blowing past the previous worldwide total without much trouble.
